WEEK 9 (28/10/24 - 1/11/24)

Day 32

I reached the school at 9:00 a.m. and signed the attendance register. Today I got two period to take a class and also I conducted diagnostic test at 8C.  I taught the topic thermal conductivity electrical conductivity of chemistry at fourth period that was my LP-26 and sonority, melting point and density of metals at fifth period which was my LP-32.  I conducted diagnostic test at 3rd period which was on the topic chemical reactions of the chapter chemical changes of chemistry. At  noon we went to serve food for students.

Day 33

I reached the school at 9:15 a.m. and time the attendance register. Today I conducted conscientization at the third period at 8C. My conscientization program is to give awareness about junk food.  I got 2 period for teaching. I taught magnetic field, magnetic flux density of chapter magnetism at the 6th period which was my LP 20 and at 7th period  I taught magnetic induction of the chapter magnetism of physics which was LP- 21 .  at noon we went to serve food. 



Day 34

I reached the school at 9:30 a.m. and signed the attendance register.  Today I go to two periods to take class. I taught reactions of metals with air of unit metals which was my 
LP- 27 and alloys of metal LP-28 at 8C at seventh period. 

Day 35 

I reached the school at 9:00 a.m. and the sign the attendance register. Today  was November 1st Kerala piravi dinam. So there was a special assembly related to this. The assembly involves importance of Kerala ,Kerala history and some songs related to Kerala etc.  and also the teachers wear set saree. today I go  two periods to take class. At the third period I told my LP-29 reactions of metal with  water of the chapter metals. At  seventh period I taught my LP-30,  reactions of metals with acids. I got a substitution at first period at 10 A. At noon we went to serve food for students.


WEEKLY REFLECTION

This week was good. I go to many periods for teaching physics and chemistry in this week. There was a speciality associated with this week that was Kerala piravi dinam  school celebrated it through conducting a special assembly. I conducted diagnostic test and conscientization in this week. the diagnostic test is on the topic chemical reactions of chemical changes of chemistry and conscientization program is an awareness about the Junk food. This was conducted at 8C. 

CLASS REFLECTION

Every weeks bring many changes in my teaching.  I improved the class management skills.  I understand how to organise a lesson and how to implement that effectively in a classroom and I have got an idea about time management. Through each classes I learnt new lessons of teaching

  WEEK 1   (14/08/2024 - 16/08/2024 ) As part of B.Ed curriculum first phase of teaching practice for 50 days started at Govt. HSS Punalur at 14/08/2024. DAY 1 Our first day of teaching practice started on 14.08.2024. I reached the school at 10.00 am. We went to see headmistress to handover the attendance register. Then we met our respective subject teachers to receive the classes and portions. Today I didn't get class hours or substitution hours. I have got an opportunity to be a part preparations of school parliamentary election. I was also be an invigilator for Aksharamuttam quiz competition in the school. At noon we served mid day meal to students. DAY 2  16/08/2024 was the second day of teaching practice. Today was school parliamentary election at morning first two hours. WEEK 7 ( January 20 - January 24)

DAY 26 (JAN 20)       Today I reached the school at a 9:00 a.m. and the signed the attendance register. Today I got a period to take a class at 9A at the first period I taught my LP 25 which was carbonates and by carbonates of the chapter non metals of chemistry and also I showed the innovative work which was a rotating chart model of non metals it was very helpful for the students to study and remember the concepts of non metals.  At noon we went to serve food for students.  I got two substitution period at 8B and 8A which was 3rd and 7th period respectively.  DAY 27( Jan 21) Today I reached the school at 9:15 a.m. and the signed the attendance register. Today I got two periods to take a class at the 8C at 5th period I taught LP 28 which was propagation of sound of the chapter sound of physics. week 4 (02/09/2024 , 24/09 -- 27/09 )

Day 10  I reached the school at 9.00 am and signed the attendance register. Today I got two periods to take class. First and second period at 8C. I took my two lesson plans as part of revision. First period I taught distance and displacement and second period I taught scalar and vector quantities. Afternoon there was no class because from the next day the first terminal examinations will starts. But we leave the school at evening. We were helped the teachers to arrange the class for exams.  Day 11 I reached the school at 9.05 am and signed the attendance register it was the second day after onam vacation. Second period I got a substitution at 9D and also I got a substitution at seventh period at 8C. Sir gave me answer sheets to distribute. Today I didn't get any classes to teach. At noon we went to serve food for students. Day 12 I reached the school at 9.00 am and signed the attendance register. I thought today was a tensionful day . General teacher came to observe our class....
