WEEK 2. (November 25 - November 29)

DAY 4

I reached the school at a 9:00 a.m. and the signed the attendance register. I had a class at 9A at first period for chemistry and I had a substitution period at 8C,  I taught a topic of physics. I taught the topic solvent, solute, homogeneous mixtures of the chapter solutions of chemistry at 9 A, which was my LP-6. 9A class was Malayalam medium division.  substitution period was 4th period I taught the concave and the convex mirror of the chapter reflection of light in spherical mirrors through concept attainment model which was LP-14. I understood teaching through models was more effective than normal classes. 9A class students were  very unfamiliar to me, so I am in a little tension that how can I manage them, but it was okay. I couldn't make much effort to maintain the class they were calm  and good listening.  I thought I taught the lesson effectively because the students corporate with me and were active throughout in class. 

DAY 5

I reached the school at a 9:00 a.m. and signed the attendance register. Today was constitution day ,so there was a special assembly regarding this. I didn't have a period today but I got a substitution at 9A at 5th period I taught the topic aqueous solutions, polar compounds, nonpolar compounds and organic solvents of the chapter solutions which was LP-8. The school celebrated constituent day with the special assembly the assembly involved many programs that gave information about Indian constitutionthe students explained the constitutional history and showed  many chart and their was a quiz section. 

DAY  6

I reached the school at 9:15 a.m. and the signed the attendance register. Today I had a period at the 9A which was period of chemistry it was first period. I taught the topic concentrated solution, dilute solution and uses of solution in daily life of the chapter solutions which was LP-9.  I got a substitution period at 9C which was 6th period. I created a friendly relationship with a students. I utilised substitution hours to interact with new students. 

DAY 7

I reached the school at 9:00 a.m. and signed the attendance register. Today I go to 2 periods to take a class at 3rd period I got a substitution period at the 9A I taught the topic mass percentage, parts per million- method for expressing concentration of the chapter solutions of chemistry which was my LP-10. At the 6th period I taught the topic principal focus of concave and convex mirror of the chapter reflection of light in spherical mirrors of physics at 8C which was my LP- 3. At noon we went into serve food for students. 

DAY 8

I reached to the school at a 9:00 a.m. and the signed the attendance registe. Today I got two  periods for chemistry and other for physics. At the second period 9A I taught the topic saturated and unsaturated solution of the chapter solutions of chemistry which was LP-11. At seventh period I taught the topic focal length and the focal plane of the Unit reflection of light in spherical mirrors of physics. It was LP-4 and also I got a substitution period at 8A which was 4th period.  I noon we went to serve food for students. I started to observe each students during teaching. Some students were disobedient during class. They always tried to make noise. I tried maximum to concentrate the students on topic. 

WEEKLY REFLECTION

This week was very good. This week included a special day which was constitution day on this Tuesday. The school celebrated that with the special assembly, pledge and many informative session based on Indian constitution. I got many periods for taking class and some substitution hours . I became part of every school activities and along with I completed my works, preparing lesson plans for next classes and planning my classes in free time. 

CLASS REFLECTION

The first phase of teaching practice made many changes in my teaching. I adapt myself with the school. I got some intimacy with the school and children. Most of the students in the school knew me as a teacher.  I always tried to create a friendly atmosphere in classroom. Each day in school adds new experience to my teaching life. I got more interest in teaching.
